Tina
Practice Manager
Tina is our Practice Manager at Clarity Eye Surgeons and has 20 years’ experience with Dr David Dickson, and now Dr Parth Shah in a busy ophthalmology practice.
Having studied at Canberra University (Bachelor of Arts (Tourism), Tina has worked locally and interstate previously in insurance support, marketing, and media. She has a busy little family and enjoys all the sport that goes with that!
Tina is responsible for the in room and hospital scheduling, administrative and financial parts of the practice. A welcoming friendly person that helps provide a smooth transition through the booking and consultation process.
Julianne
Orthoptist
Julianne completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Orthoptics at the University of Sydney, and has worked locally with Dr David Dickson for over 25 years. Julianne enjoys helping patients understand and learn more about their eye conditions.
Julianne is excited about helping Dr Parth Shah build and grow Clarity Eye Surgeons.
Suki
Optometrist
Suki graduated from the University of New South Wales, with a Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Clinical Optometry. After practicing in Sydney’s Hills District, she moved to Canberra with her partner in April 2022. Suki also practices part-time in community optometry, with interests in myopia management, children’s vision, and collaborative management of various eye health conditions. In her spare time, Suki enjoys spending time with her large extended family in Canberra, baking and learning calligraphy.
Jenny
Reception
Jenny grew up on a farm near Yarrawonga, on the Murray River, in Victoria. She finds it hard to believe that she has now lived in Canberra for over 30 years, having moved when her husband was working on the construction of Parliament House.
Jenny has been with the practice as a receptionist for almost 10 years, and previously worked at an optometry practice.
Jenny loves spending time with family and friends, and travels down to Victoria whenever possible to catch up. In addition to this she also enjoys reading, sewing, going to the movies and sometimes gardening.
Cathy
Reception and Admin Assistant
Cathy has enjoyed moving to Clarity Eye Surgeons after being a practice manager at a local optometry practice for over 14 years.
She enjoys interacting with patients and assisting with their needs.
Cathy has lived in Canberra for over 40 years and loves family/grandchild time, going to the movies, reading, walking and having weekends away with her hubby.
Angela
Reception and Ophthalmic Assistant
Angela is an Administrative and Ophthalmic Assistant. She started working in the Optical industry in Canberra in 1982 and attained her Diploma in Optical Dispensing. She has worked predominantly with independent Optometry practices in Canberra, and the far south coast.
In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and is an avid gardener.
